Boarding
When you're away, let your pet stay with us! Mayde Creek Animal Health Center's spacious boarding facility is the perfect place for your pet to stay when you're on vacation. Our boarding facility includes 50 indoor, air-conditioned runs with benches, six custom suites with furniture, and 34 cat condominiums. Feedings are twice daily. All boarding guests are fed Hill's Science Diet at meal time. Pets' quarters are cleaned and sanitized daily or more as needed. Dogs are leash-walked in a fenced area two to three times daily.
Vaccinations
All boarding guests must be up to date on their vaccinations in order to protect their health and the health of other guests. Dogs require legally-valid rabies vaccinations; distemper/parvovirus vaccinations conforming to our standards, and bordetella vaccinations from within the last 6 months. Cats require legally-valid rabies vaccinations and feline distemper vaccinations conforming to our standards.
We must see written documentation or have a telephone confirmation from another clinic that these vaccinations have been done and when they were performed. It is your responsibility to provide this information. Vaccinations given at home or by a breeder will not be accepted for boarding purposes. This is for the safety of your pet as well as all other pets in the facility.
Personal Belongings
Bedding, blankets, toys, food, and treats for your pets are welcome. However, Mayde Creek Animal Health Center will not be responsible for items chewed or damaged. If bedding, blankets, or soft toys are soiled during your pets stay with us we will wash them unless told otherwise. Mayde Creek Animal Health Center will also be happy to provide bedding at your request if you choose or do not have anything with you. Please do not bring anything that you do not want labeled with a permanent marker.
As a courtesy to our canine guests, dogs staying 3 nights or more in a custom suite will receive a free bath. Otherwise, baths are provided at a discounted fee.
Reservations
Our boarding facility fills up fast, especially during the holidays. We ask that you call ahead and make a reservation for your pet's stay with us. Boarding hours are the same as regular hospital hours. No after-hours pick-ups or drop-offs are allowed.

Grooming
Your pet deserves to be pampered! After a grooming session at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center, your four-legged friend will look and feel great. Our experienced groomers provide a full array of grooming services to both dogs and cats. We can cut and style your pet's coat any way you'd like; our groomers are familiar with the latest styles and well-versed in breed standards.
Grooming sessions include a bath, coat trim, styling, nail clipping and anal gland expression. If your pet requires a flea treatment, we provide safe, effective state-of-the-art treatments such as Capstar, Frontline and Advantage rather than baths or dips.
Reservations are required for all grooming sessions. Pets can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 7 and 9 a.m. for grooming appointments. Please call us at 281-578-5449 for pricing information.
