Hospital Staff
Practice manager Angela Cantu graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and joined the Mayde Creek Animal Health Center staff in 2003. She is proud of the high-quality care offered at the hospital and enjoys working with the knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. She enjoys spending her free time with her two children outdoors, and her hobbies include scrapbooking and cooking. She shares her home with two cats, Preston and Amber and one dog, Payton.
Debbie Holcomb is the client care coordinator at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center. A member of the staff since 2001, Debbie has worked in the animal care field since 1996 and enjoys the friendly, family-like atmosphere at the hospital and loves working with clients. When she's not at the hospital, Debbie enjoys decorating, gardening and any water activities. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoys the companionship of her two dogs, Sparky and Polly, and a Conure named Beeper.
The kennel supervisor at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center since 2003, Natasha Woodall loves working with all the different animals and clients that come into the hospital. In her spare time, she is involved in wolf-dog education and enjoys working with and teaching people about wolves and wolf-dogs. She also serves as a volunteer at the St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary. Her hobbies include swimming, hiking, reading and drawing. Natasha enjoys spending time with her family, singing at church and making costumes for anime conventions. Her animal companions include four dogs, Monty, Bassi, Newton and Einstein, two cats named Spencer and Snoopy, and two horses Bardo and Bambino.
Tamra LaCroix has helped pets at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center look great since 2006. She has worked with animals for more than 30 years and loves coming into work each day. When she's not at the hospital, Tamra enjoys the outdoors, motorcycling and spending time with her children. She also shares her home with two cats and a Betta fish.
Client care representative Crystal Slaughter has worked with clients and pets at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center since 2003. She loves animals, especially puppies and kittens, and enjoys learning new things about pets each day. Crystal's hobbies include going to the gym, swimming and bicycling. She enjoys spending her free time with her children and husband, going to the park, swimming and on other outings. Her four-legged family members include two dogs, Jake and Valentine, a parakeet named Tucker and a cat named Sammie.
Registered veterinary technician Heidi Strange has helped care for pets at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center since 2005. She enjoys the friendly atmosphere at the hospital and loves working with clients and their pets. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with honors and welcomed a new baby in August 2009, which takes up a lot of her spare time. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, home improvement projects and scuba diving. She also enjoys the companionship of her dog Gibson and her cat, Jinx.
Registered veterinary technician Deborah Keeter graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology form North Harris County College in 1991. She took her state and national boards at T.S.T.I. in Waco that same year. She and her husband Lucian have been married over 33 years and they have one daughter, Amanda. Deborah enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, and playing with her many, loving, furry, four legged babies. She also enjoys working with our 3 wonderful doctors and her caring and sensitive support staff. Jinx.
