Practice Manager

Practice manager Angela Cantu graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and joined the Mayde Creek Animal Health Center staff in 2003. She is proud of the high-quality care offered at the hospital and enjoys working with the knowledgeable veterinarians and staff.

She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, James, two boys, Noah and Nicholas

Angela’s hobbies include cooking and outdoor activities with her husband and children. She shares her home with two cats, Preston and Amber and a dog, Jackson.


Client Care Coordinator

Debbie Holcomb is the client care coordinator at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center. A member of the staff since 2001, Debbie has worked in the animal care field since 1996 and enjoys the friendly, family-like atmosphere at the hospital and loves working with clients. When shes not at the hospital, Debbie enjoys decorating, gardening and any water activities. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoys the companionship of her two dogs, Millie and Polly, and a Conure named Beeper.


Client Care Coordinator

Client care representative Crystal Slaughter has worked with clients and pets at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center since 2003. She loves animals, especially puppies and kittens, and enjoys learning new things about pets each day. Crystals hobbies include volunteering at SIRE , swimming and bicycling. She enjoys spending her free time with her children, going to the park, swimming and on other outings. Her four-legged family members include her dogs, Elmo, Stinker. and Coach, and 1 cat, Snickers.

Veterinary Technicians


Supervisor, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Stacey, technician supervisor, started with Mayde Creek Animal Health Center in May of 2010 and after 2 years she left to explore Veterinary Medicine in cancer research. 6 months in, she decided her passion was small animal medicine and returned to Mayde Creek Animal Health Center in November 2012. Stacey’s career in veterinary medicine started in 2008 when she decided to follow her heart and pursue a more rewarding career that puts her passion and heart for animals to good use. Stacey has a Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications from University of Houston 2002 and an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology 2010. Her hobbies include fishing, camping, going to the park with her dogs, working on cars, and just spending time with family and friends. Stacey shares her home with her Husband, Cliff and her 3 furbies; Princess Bitches, Sharkbait, and Chevelle.
