We are proud to provide laser therapy treatments for dogs and cats at Mayde Creek Animal Health Center. Laser therapy is a cutting-edge treatment that is noninvasive and does not require anesthesia. The therapeutic laser produces a high-intensity beam of light that deeply penetrates tissue without causing any damage. The laser induces a biological response in the cells which leads to reduced pain, reduced inflammation and increases the speed of healing. Treatments are a very relaxing experience for pets as the warmth of the laser provides pain relief and comfort – and many pets become so relaxed they even fall asleep!

Our veterinarians use laser therapy to treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses that your pet might be experiencing. It can also increase your pet’s joint flexibility and relieve joint pain, especially in senior dogs and cats. Treatment protocols are unique to each patient and condition, and vary in time and cost. Typically, most pets experience an improvement in their condition within the first few treatments.
