Alyssa Nakama

Alyssa Nakama has been in veterinary medicine since 2013. Starting out as a practice manager of an emergency clinic in Florida, she then moved to Texas where she was the practice manager over multiple emergency clinics. In June 2024, Alyssa joined the Mayde Creek Animal Health Center team and has brought her passion for managing, organizing, and advocating for patients to the team!

Raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin (GO PACK GO!) Alyssa now lives in Texas with her husband their dog (Lupin) and cat (Bucky). She enjoys reading books and watching Masterchef in her free time. When she’s not at work or reading, you can find her in the kitchen trying out new recipes.
